Navigating Mom's family

We surprised my "little brother" for his 40th! It was a blast! (Me on the back left, my parents in front, brother middle back, little sis back right)

Girly Girl - New Do!

Girly Girl got some precious locks (about 7") cut off for the summer. Here
she sports her best pose!

Louis Zamperini

We had the honor and pleasure of meeting this wonderful 91 year old WWII Vet & Japanese POW (shown here with Dream Spinner) at the 49th Annual Armed Forces Day Parade and celebration in Torrence, CA. Zamperini was also an Olympic miler in the 1936 Olympics when Hitler was presiding. He has an AMAZING story which you can read in his fascinating book entitled "Devil at My Heels" available online.

Dream Spinner and I both read the book, discussed the fortitude of this man, and were moved by it. We are hoping to bring Mr. Zamperini in to speak to a small crowd very soon!

The Cheerleader''s new glasses

The Cheerleader needed glasses and chose wisely we believe! She is
definitely a photogenic one.

Cousin's graduation!

We were so excited and proud to be included in our cousin's 8th grade graduation! Here is The Cheerleader, girl cousin, and Girly Girl front row center making the most of a blazing hot sunny day!

Summer's here! Getting ready for School 2008-09!

Well, even though summer break has just begun, I am busily preparing for the fall schedule! We have tried many different blogs but have decided to pick one that is easily updated from out and about via the cell - so here we are! I love that we can post directly from pictures we take while we are out! I will try it to see how easily it actually works...

I am hoping to keep this updated on a regular basis as we really want a family blog space!

Check back to see if I can get the mobile update to work!
